Tips for Taking Your Next Test Drive

One of the components of any car that you're interested in taking on a test drive that you should check would be the brakes. You can usually look through the wheels to see the brakes and determine whether the pads are good or not. Pay attention to any noises from the brakes when you're driving the car.

Examine the suspension system by pushing down on the front and the back of the vehicle. You should see minimal give or bounce when this is done. If you do notice excessive bouncing, then it could be an indication of anything from a shock or a strut that needs to be replaced.

Open all of the doors and compartments in the vehicle. This will allow you to see if there is any damage in these areas. You also need to make sure the automatic locks work and that all keys work with the doors and the trunk. Lincoln of LaPorte can usually replace a key or the key FOB if it doesn't work properly.
